If you have been feeling more grounded lately, settled, present in your body, and able to breathe through all these intense shifts, that is not a coincidence.
It's Taurus season doing exactly what it was designed to do.
The past few months have been a deep purge.
A clearing.
For many of us, it has felt like we were walking through layers of past lives, old patterns, and outdated versions of ourselves that we have outgrown but had not yet fully released.
That work was real! It was necessary.

In the Vedic tradition, this new moon falls on Jyeshtha Amavasya, and more specifically, on a Saturday, making it Shani Amavasya.
Saturday is the day of Saturn, and when a new moon, already considered auspicious for ancestor veneration and spiritual clearing, falls on Saturn's day, it carries a heightened potency for karmic release, spiritual discipline, and honoring what has been.
The nakshatra is Rohini, one of the most beloved and fertile stars in Vedic astrology. Rohini is the moon's favorite resting place. She is associated with beauty, abundance, creative manifestation, and the nourishment of the earth.
In Sanskrit, her name means "the red one" evoking growth, fertility, and the blush of new life.
Rohini whispers: Tend to yourself with love and patience, and you shall flourish!
She asks you to be patient with your becoming.

Your Body Is the Temple
Taurus is an earth sign. The first of the earth elements, and it's asking something of you right now, that our fast paced, digital bogged down world rarely gives us permission to receive.. Slowness, Presence, Sensation, Safety, Stability, Trust!

Find a quiet space where you can sit or stand barefoot if possible, on grass, soil, or even a wood floor works.
Place both hands on your belly or your heart. Breathe in slowly for four counts, hold for four, out for four.
As you breathe, feel the weight of your body, the pull of gravity, the support of the earth beneath you. You are held. You have always been held.
When you feel settled, speak your intentions aloud, or write them in present tense, as if they are already true:
"I am financially stable and at peace. My body is healthy and strong. I am building something that lasts. I am rooted in my truth."

Shani Amavasya carries powerful energy for honoring the lineage and releasing what has been passed down that no longer needs to travel forward.
