The New Moon at 28º21′ of Libra is here and officially closes the Eclipse portal.

October's New Moon initiates a new lunar cycle centered on relational healing, restored harmony, and a conscious rebalancing of how we give and receive.
It's not a passive invitation into peace, but an active call to create relational dynamics that honor truth, mutuality, and self-respect. Asking us to explore new ways of relating to each other, life, self, and the world around us, to develop a deeper understanding of the patterns we unconsciously repeat in love, friendship, and connection.
A New Moon like this is a wake up call to align with what truly matters. Not the rat race of the world. Not the awards, the titles, no.. The peace, laughter, flow, being, the love!
The child like energy. Play and imagination. Celebration.
We need to look at life from a more softer lens and invite this reset in.
In addition, Mercury hits shadow period today, and begins retrograde on 11/9. Pay attention to the energies now, as they are apart of a bigger storyline unfolding.
Who Feels It Most
This New Moon is especially impactful for those with natal placements in Cardinal signs; Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. Potentially bringing up; significant new people, activations, or turning points in existing relationships. Important new beginnings are seeded now, offering opportunities to see relational dynamics with new clarity and make conscious shifts in how one shows up within them.
The End of the Eclipse Portal
As the first New Moon since Eclipse season began, this lunation formally closes the Eclipse portal, the last eclipses of 2025 and opens a beautiful new cycle built on love, trust, and reciprocity.
We integrate what was revealed or destabilized during the Eclipses; not by returning to old balance, but by establishing a new, more truthful version of it. Libra energy invites us to plant seeds of reciprocity, grace, mutual care, and relational integrity, while remaining rooted in self.
New Moon Opposite Chiron Healing Through Honesty
The Libra New Moon forms an exact opposition to Chiron retrograde in Aries, highlighting how past relational wounds, especially around abandonment, rejection, or self-betrayal, still shape how we relate today. Chiron exposes the ways we may have performed for love, softened our truth to be accepted, or fused our identity with another to feel safe.
Yet the medicine here is not withdrawal, it is tender presence with the wound, allowing true repair instead of unconscious reenactment.
Fated Pressure for Change
This New Moon forms a Yod with Saturn in Pisces, Neptune in Aries, and Uranus in Gemini, a rare configuration known as the “Finger of God.” It creates pressure to evolve patterns that are no longer sustainable. Saturn highlights responsibility vs. desire. Neptune reveals where we lose ourselves in fantasy or sacrifice. Uranus activates the need for disruption and liberation from false peace. With Chiron amplifying this energy, the release point is clear:
healing the wound is the way through.
"The Wound is Where the Light, Where the Love Enters"
Clearing Illusion
Venus, ruler of this New Moon, is also in Libra and separating from an opposition to Neptune. This marks the clearing of relational illusions. Romantic projections, fantasies, savior dynamics, come into sharp focus. We are invited to see people not as spiritual assignments or reflections of our longing, but as they truly are. Love becomes cleaner, simpler, more honest.
Overall, we are invited into conscious relating, connection rooted not in fantasy or fear, but in self-honoring truth. We are asked to restore balance where we have given too much or armored too hard. Harmony is not produced through avoidance.... but through clarity, courage, and sacred reciprocity.
This is a turning point in how we love, not just others, but ourselves, life, and everything in it!
Happy New Moon!
